PRAISE THE LORD



one night a man had a dream.
he dreamed that he was walking along
the beach with the LORD.

across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
for each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.

when the last scene of his life
flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints
in the sand.

he noticed that many times
along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.

he also noticed that it happened
at the very lowest and saddest times
in his life.

this really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
but I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints. 
i  don't understand why when 
i needed you most you would leave me."

The LORD replied:
"my son, my precious child,
i love you and i would never leave you.
during your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

I asked God for water, He gave me an ocean.
I asked God for a flower, He gave me a garden.
I asked God for a friend, He gave me all of YOU...
If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Happy moments, praise God.
Difficult moments, seek God.
Quiet moments, worship God.
Painful moments, trust God.
Every moment, thank God.

You can't tap your back for a job well done.
You can't hug yourself for comfort.
You can't cry on your shoulders when tears fall.
That's why you have GOD in your life,
to let Him do whatever you can't.

Joy isn't a feeling that comes and goes. We choose to live in joy by trusting in God. And that joy makes us strong.
Jesus was not a victim at the cross. He was a volunteer. He went and willingly died for you. He didn't have to. He wanted to.
Even if you were the only person on earth, Jesus would have still gone to the cross for you. That's how much he loves you.
The creation is God's gift to humankind. Such a precious gift is surely worthy of our protection and care.
Sometimes God puts difficult people in our lives to change us. Sometimes he puts us in their lives
to change them.

When you need him the most he is there .
When you are not in dire need of his help he is there.
When you are in pain he is is watching.
When you are weeping he is listening.
You don't appreciate him but he is there.
You push away his love but he is fighting for you.
All he is doing is testing your faith.
Will you win or lose?
